Amigurumi

Amigurumi is the Japanese art of crocheting small stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures. Most amigurumi is worked in continuous spirals, rather than joined rounds.

These sweet creatures make wonderful soft toys and cuddle pals for babies and young children. They also make great toys for dogs and cats.

Amigurumis are a fast growing toy phenomenon among older children, tweens and teens who love to collect adorable amigurumi animals & creatures. (remember the beanie baby craze?) Adults love amigurumi creatures too.

Please note:

I would suggest not giving any amigurumi with buttons for eyes to babies, toddlers or pets as the buttons could come off and become a choking hazard.
